I should be dead.
I was hanging out with a friend the other day when a stranger put a gun to my head. I thought I was dead. I told him I was leaving and thought he was going to shoot me in the back. The stranger let me go. I was shocked and disturbed and turned to baseball for assurance. It worked out well as Sean Manaea tossed a no-hitter. Life rolls on…..
Glad you survived.

thanks v. I’m glad I did as well.
Wow. Glad to hear you’re still kicking.
thanks man. 🙂
I’m glad you’re ok …
Oh my god! That’s too close for comfort.
That’s frighteningly random. Glad you’re alright.
I normally try to keep things family-friendly, but… HOLY SHIT.
Needless to say, I’m glad you’re still with us. I hope you’re doing well emotionally.
Just reading this now. Glad you’re OK Gary and glad you find solace in baseball. It reminds me of the survivors of a devastating tsunami somewhere in Japan a few years ago. Local officials considered shutting down games, maybe even the remainder of the season. I forget, but fans were like “no way, please, don’t do it. We need baseball more than ever now.”
Thanks dude. I appreciate the comment. 😉
