I give the same message to the Giants fans who claim “dynasty” status for having won three W.S. in five years – completely forgetting the fact that in none of the championship years did they have the best record in the NL, and in 2013 they even had a LOSING record. Sorry, but if you have a losing season sometime in the span, you CANNOT be a “dynasty”.
If they need to see what a real dynasty looks like, they should look across the bay to the 72-74 A’s….
